Lady Katherine Housing and Care is situated in the tranquillity of the beautiful countryside. We are two miles from Knowle and Balsall Common, and five miles from Solihull Town Centre.

Over 50 people live in this thriving, active community and we offer them support and care to maintain continuing independent living in a safe and convenient location.

Lady Katherine Housing and Care is set in a collection of historic early 18th century buildings that have been extensively modernised into self-contained units designed to cater for the individual needs of our residents. At the centre of these buildings is a charming courtyard, which forms a peaceful meeting place for residents and their visitors.

Temple Balsall is a Conservation Area, with notable historic buildings and a heritage of care stretching back more than 700 years.

Temple Balsall's unique community

At the heart of the community at Temple Balsall is the Anglican Parish Church of St. Mary’s, built in the 14th century as the chapel of the Knights Hospitaller. Lady Katherine Leveson Church of England School and the Leveson Centre for the Study of Ageing and Spirituality are also part of the wide range of our work. Many residents are actively involved in the parish and all enjoy and support the activities of the school. Lady Katherine Housing and Care is open to both couples and single people who are in sympathy with our ethos.
